Summer???

Hello everyone, this past week we have had a lot of rain! We have had rain, thunderstorms, tornado watches and warnings, and on the same days we would still have some sun! There would be thunder and lightning... then a little later there would be sun! This is kind of crazy weather for June! Today and yesterday have been nice and sunny.
Well what have we been doing???
This month we are watching our neighbor's two grand kids a few times. We watched them on Monday and we are watching them today, tomorrow, and a few other times.
Last night we went to my dad's softball game. That is always fun. We get to talk to our friends during the game-that's really why we like to go! We also did a little shopping last night.
Monday night one of my sisters and I went over to the neighbor's house. (The one we work for). She is on vacation so her daughter is staying at her house with her two kids. Well the basement had some flooding. (We have had lots and lots of rain!) Some boxes of stuff got wet. Some of the boxes had pictures in them. :( We helped unload the pictures and clean up the water.
Sunday we went to church, and then my mom quickly went to a few stores.
Saturday we went to a fishing derby at a nearby lake. It was a free fishing day so anyone could fish without a license. The kids won prizes for catching the biggest fish and everyone got free lunch. It was a fun thing to do. Some friends of ours went too so we enjoyed hanging out with them!
Friday we went over to our friends house and watched a movie. Pete had a birthday party and their boys were coming to our house so we went to their house! We had fun and that way we didn't invade on the boys party! (My parents were there of course!)
Thursday we went to shots. I only have to go every three weeks now. That is nice! Thursday night we decorated the house with dinosaurs! That was the theme of Pete's party.
Wednesday I think we worked at the neighbor's house. (It might have been Tuesday-I am not sure.)
This week my sisters and I have been working on a summer challenge my mom gave us. We have to exercise for 5.5 hours and ride our bikes for 10.5 hours before the end of August. If we do this she will buy us DVD that we pick out! So we rode our bikes for about a half an hour yesterday. That is the first time I have ridden my bike this year!
