Floods

Hello everyone, we have had a lot of rain in the past week or so. It has rained and rained and rained some more! There are a lot of floods. I guess people's yards aren't flooded to bad unless they live by a creek or a river. Our yard is up high and it is very sandy so we don't really have floods or even puddles. Everything is wet though. The big highway not to far from our house (It is a four-laned highway) is flooded. Some spots are shut down and people driving through have to take a detour. My parents don't think that has ever happened as long as we have lived here-at least 16 years! There is just a lot of water. We have had a really dry summer; I guess that's being made up for now-all at once!
Well it hasn't really affected us that much, but it's a big thing anyway!
